MVP Development

I help founders turn an idea into a product real users can sign up for and pay for. The goal of an MVP is learning fast, so I scope the smallest version worth launching and build it on foundations you will not need to throw away.

Who it is for

  • Non-technical founders who need one engineer to own the product end to end
  • Technical founders who need extra hands to hit a launch date
  • Teams validating a new product line before committing a full team

What is included

  • Scoping workshop and a written plan of what is in and out of version one
  • UI design for the core flows, or implementation of your existing designs
  • Frontend, backend, database and authentication
  • Payments with Stripe or Dodo Payments when the product charges from day one
  • An admin area to manage users, content and transactions
  • Deployment, analytics and a handover document

How I approach it

  1. Start from the one job the product must do for its first users and cut everything else to a later version.
  2. Choose boring, proven technology (Next.js, Django or FastAPI, PostgreSQL) so the MVP can grow into the real product.
  3. Ship to a preview link early and keep you in the loop with working software rather than status reports.
  4. Launch with monitoring and analytics in place, so the first users teach you something measurable.

Questions

How long does an MVP take to build?

It depends on scope. A focused MVP with one core flow, accounts and payments usually takes weeks rather than months. I give a written estimate after the scoping call.

Will I own the code?

Yes. The code lives in your repository and accounts from the start, and you own everything that is built.

Have you launched MVPs on your own?

Yes. NepseView, theMixtr, ChefJRP and myigirlfriend were each designed, built and launched by me alone.
