How I approach it
- Define what a good answer looks like before writing prompts, so quality can be checked.
- Keep the model behind your own API so you can switch providers and control costs.
- Store what the user said in a structured way so memory is useful, not just a long transcript.
- Design the UI for waiting and failure: streaming responses, retries and clear limits.

Which AI providers do you work with?
OpenAI, Google Gemini and other LLM APIs. I keep providers behind your own backend so they can be swapped.
Can AI features be profitable?
Yes, if usage is metered and priced deliberately. Both of my AI products use paid plans so heavy users cover their own model costs.
