Overview
myigirlfriend is a consumer AI product I designed and built completely from scratch. Users swipe through AI companions that each have their own personality, match with the ones that share their interests, and start a conversation straight away.
People use it to practise conversation and flirting, to build confidence, and to feel less lonely. Each companion remembers what the user told it earlier, so conversations continue instead of starting over.
What I built
- A swipe-to-match discovery flow for browsing companions, with match, pass and undo.
- Companion personalities and interest-based matching so users meet characters they actually click with.
- A chat experience with long-term memory per companion, so earlier details are carried into new conversations.
- A free tier (first messages free) and paid weekly and monthly plans with unlimited messages.
- The full product surface: landing page, onboarding, chats list, plans and profile, built mobile-first.
